College Football in Oregon

On Friday, November 24, 2006 Oregon State (#24) takes on the University of Oregon (#20) at home, Corvallis, Oregon. Read about the legendary college football rivalry.

The game, college football. The kickoff, 12:30pm, Friday, November 24, 2006. The place, Corvallis, Oregon home of the Oregon State Beavers. The challengers, the University of Oregon Ducks. Be there for this legendary college football rivalry, where anything can happen and either team can come out the winner!

Both the University of Oregon and Oregon State and are having a pretty good football season. Last week, the Beavers beat the top ranked University of Southern California Trojans. This pushed Oregon State up the Bowl Championship Series (BCS) ranking, allotting them the #24 national spot.

The University of Oregon is also ranked nationally by the BCS. The Ducks are now #20 after their effortless victory over the University of Washington.

These two Pac10 teams are both having a good year, but don’t forget (even if they were both in the middle of a terrible year and a losing season) the college rivalry factor: where anything can happen and it usually does.
