Idaho bars were packed last night with Boise State University Bronco fans wearing blue and orange and rooting for the University of Florida Gators in the BCS Championship

The Boise State University Bronco fans packed Idaho bars last night. They wore “smurf” blue and orange and cheered for the soon to be victorious #2 University of Florida Gators, over the #1 Ohio State Buckeyes. Congratulations Gators! However, this win is bittersweet for the undefeated (13-0) Broncos and their fans. Leaving everyone to wonder if the Boise State Broncos should have just stayed in Phoenix, Arizona and played the University of Florida (13-1)!

The Boise State Broncos had an awe-inspiring overtime victory against the Oklahoma Sooners in the Fiesta Bowl. The Broncos victory, combined with Ohio State’s defeat and Florida’s win at last nights BCS Championship, makes Boise State the only undefeated team ranked in the top five.

Not only are the Broncos the only undefeated team ranked in the top five and the Fiesta Bowl Champions, game winner Ian Johnson created some pretty good television too. After Ian scored the winning point in overtime, he proposed to his cheerleader girlfriend on live television!

The Boise State Broncos should have just stayed in Phoenix and gotten their shot to play the Gators. Sigh, I guess we’ll never know…

What do you think?
